"Girls Rule, Boys Drool"

WARNING: If you're a hypersensitive, PC loving, pro-choice Feminist, you will be offended by this post.

             I'm sure we all remember having that "Girls rule, boys drool" argument when you were a kid. I guess some Americans never grew out of it. One of the most annoying things to me is Feminism. Most feminists will say things like "We're fighting for equality!", but news flash: WE HAVE IT. We have the right to vote, we have equal pay (yes, we do. The wage gap is a myth), and when you look around society, the ammount of successful men and women are almost equal! We have equality! What feminists want is to be successful without even working for it.! All feminists want to do is prove that they're "as strong as men", and they basically think they can take on the male gender role. 
             What Feminists fail to realize is that you can be equal without being the same. A husband and a wife don't have to both have a full time job to be equal. The man's gender role is to work and provide. The women's role is to be a homemaker (I'm gonna get so much hate for that, but it's true)! Both roles are important, andswitching them destroys the system. 
             Another big part of feminism is abortion, although I don't understand how this should be a Feminist issue. If feminists claim to fight for equality, then why are they fighting for a procedure that only women can have? But that's beside the point. Do feminists even realize that half the children they're killing would have grown up to be WOMEN? Where's their equality and rights? This just goes on to prove that feminists are not all that they say they are.
             All in all, Feminists really don't have a necessary role in society anymore. They did back in the 18 and 1900's, but there's no point for them any more. They're becoming way too big for their britches at this point, and it's driving our country down the drain.

Fighting For Our Freedom

           Recently, there were some students at Yale university signing a petition to repeal the 1st amendment. If you watch the video, it's basically this guy who wanted to do a sort of test, so he created a fake petition to repeal the first amendment and stared asking Yale students to sign it. In an hour he got over 50 signatures. The fact that over 50 students at Yale, where some of the brightest and most intelligent students go to college, signed petition like that is beyond words.
           The 1st amendment grants Americans freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, AND petition! So basically, if there were no first amendment, those students wouldn't have the freedom to sign that petition, or any petition, in the first place! The absence of understanding in those students minds almost scares me. The fact that about 70 years ago college age students were fighting in wars to defend our basic freedoms, and now they're trying to repeal those same freedoms because they're offended is just crazy! The first amendment is basically the foundation of what we stand for. Without it, we wouldn't be the United States of America!
            Our problem isn't that these students are dumb, it's just that they haven't been presented with the right facts and wisdom to understand exactly what they're signing. We, as students, are going to inherit this great nation from our parents and grandparents not too long from now. It's about time we started researching and thinking about our views, and becoming more involved in our government.
            This country is spiraling downward really quickly. As Ronald Reagan said: "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."
            By the looks of this generation, the original values of this country are going to be nothing but rubble within 30 years. I don't want that to happen, and I will fight until my last breath to keep it from happening.

The Meaning of Christmas

Christmas.
Some love it, some hate it, and most are secretly just waiting for the presents.
The meaning of the season, although it is unchanging, has gotten distorted over the years.
Some believe it's about family and love.
Some believe it's a season of giving.
Some believe it's a time to decorate festively and throw parties.
Some believe is a time to be joyful.
Although all of these things might be things we do during the holidays, they aren't the reason.
The reason for the season is explained in the gospel of Luke, chapter 2 verse 11:
"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."
Don't let the family, gift giving, and Christmas parties distract you from the reason you're celebrating.
Take some time this Christmas season to thank God for sending his son down to earth.
